On December 28th, the Han Ou International Logistics Park project, invested and constructed by Hubei Port Group, announced its completion.
In the future, goods entering and leaving Hubei through China Railway Lianji and China Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) can immediately enter a logistics park separated by a wall after getting off the train, undergo customs inspection, storage, consolidation, and sorting, and then be directly transported to the destination through urban distribution.
As a key project in the 14th Five Year Plan for the development of transportation and logistics in Hubei Province, the Han Ou International Logistics Park project is also a core project for Wuhan to build a land port type national logistics hub.
After the project is put into operation, it will provide maximum convenience for the distribution of import and export goods in Central China.
Hanou International Logistics Park is located on the west side of Wuhan Railway Container Center Station in Dongxihu District.
The total planned land area of the project is approximately 143600 square meters, including logistics storage area and customs designated inspection area, equipped with constant temperature storage and cold storage.
The Changjiang Daily reporter saw on site that the 49.4-meter-high office building has been renovated.
The building height of Warehouse 1 is 22.2 meters, consisting of four individual warehouse buildings combined by ramps and platforms.
The height of the No.2 cold storage building is 23.55 meters, with a total of 2 floors.
After the project is put into operation, it will become an international modern comprehensive logistics park integrating multiple formats such as train services, public and railway transportation, intelligent warehouse distribution, cold chain processing, platform information services, and supply chain finance. The relevant person in charge of Hanou International introduced that the logistics park utilizes the three-dimensional transportation advantages of water, rail, public and air, and can achieve seamless connection with the China Europe Railway Express (Wuhan). Within one hour, the park's goods can be transported to various parts of the world by direct river and sea routes as well as international freight flights.
At present, the China Europe freight train (Wuhan) has a total of 52 stable cross-border transportation routes, radiating to 40 countries and 115 cities on the Eurasian continent, basically forming an international logistics network system of "parallel channels and multi-point direct".
The person in charge said that by shortening the transportation distance within the city and expanding storage space, integrating domestic and foreign logistics transportation into one space can greatly improve the efficiency of goods operation.
According to the plan, by 2025, Wuhan will be basically built into a national logistics hub of Wuhan land port type.
Aiming at this goal, filling the gaps and strengthening the carrying capacity, Wuhan Land Port Logistics Hub plans to build 8 new incremental facility projects, including Hanou International Logistics Park.
"The construction of Wuhan Europe International Logistics Park is one of the important carriers to build Wuhan into a land port type national logistics hub." The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Transport Bureau said that the layout and construction of Wuhan Europe International Logistics Park is not only the need to connect with the national level "channel+hub+network" macro logistics network, but also the specific practice of Wuhan's active integration into the new development pattern of "double circulation", the "the Belt and Road", the Yangtze River Economic Belt and other national strategies.
In the logistics park, there is also a 30 acre triangular pre storage area designated for the second phase of the project, which is the customs inspection area.
The landing of the inspection area will help more products such as grain, meat, fruits, etc. to land in Dongxihu.
At that time, the commodity port will also stimulate the diversity of business scope in the logistics park, gradually establish a supporting service system in the park, and ultimately form the largest comprehensive distribution center for domestic and international logistics dual circulation in Central China.
In the future, Hanou International Logistics Park will focus on the functional positioning of "one platform+three bases", creating an international logistics service center, an ASEAN fruit trading center, an imported meat cold chain distribution center, and a resource-based product distribution center, accelerating the construction of a modern logistics system of "channel+hub+network", and adding new momentum to the development and agglomeration of local industries.
