CCTV News: On June 11th, the Ministry of Commerce and nine other departments issued the "Opinions on Expanding Cross border E-commerce Exports and Promoting Overseas Warehouse Construction", proposing policy measures from various aspects such as cultivating cross-border e-commerce business entities and increasing financial support, aiming to expand cross-border e-commerce exports, optimize overseas warehouse layout, and accelerate the cultivation of new foreign trade momentum.

The opinion points out that we should coordinate and make good use of existing funding channels, support the development of cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouse enterprises, and promote the construction of overseas warehouses along the China Europe freight trains.
Encourage universities to offer courses related to "cross-border e-commerce+minority languages".
Accelerate the construction of standards in the field of cross-border e-commerce, and guide qualified associations, enterprises, etc. to participate in the formulation of national and industry standards for new foreign trade formats such as cross-border e-commerce.

Allow orderly and free flow of data in application scenarios such as cross-border e-commerce and cross-border payments, while ensuring security.
Support the introduction of new technologies such as "digital humans" in accordance with laws and regulations, expand sales channels through online live streaming, and drive the export of more advantageous products.

Supporting cross-border e-commerce enterprises to 'borrow and expand overseas';
Encourage local organizations with conditions to organize enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions, providing more display and docking platforms for cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
Intensify financial support, unblock financing channels for cross-border e-commerce enterprises, and optimize cross-border fund settlement services.

Cross border e-commerce, as a new form and model of foreign trade, has developed rapidly in recent years.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce, there are over 120000 cross-border e-commerce enterprises in China.
In the first quarter of this year, the import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce reached 577.6 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6%.
Among them, exports amounted to 448 billion yuan, an increase of 14%.
In the past five years, the scale of cross-border e-commerce trade in China has grown more than tenfold.
At the same time, as an important overseas node for cross-border e-commerce and a new type of foreign trade infrastructure, overseas warehouses are also rapidly developing, becoming a "new channel" for Chinese export enterprises to explore the market.

Industry insiders say that looking ahead, developing new forms of foreign trade such as cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehouses will not only promote the optimization of foreign trade structure and stable scale, but also create new advantages for international economic cooperation.
